Advance Trac® with RSC®(Roll Stability Control)

Ford’s Advance Trac® with RSC® helps Transit stay upright during emergency evasive maneuvers and sharp turns. Sensors in the ESP system detect instability during such situations and cut off power to the rear wheels to reduce wheel torque along with applying emergency brakes-thereby helping to stabilize the vehicle.

SOS Post Crash Alert SystemTM

Ford’s SOS Post crash Alert SystemTM automatically sounds the horn and activates the emergency flashers in the event of an airbag deployment or safety belt pre-tensioner activation. In Addition, the vehicle doors automatically unlock to aid in rescue. The system is designed to alert passersby and first responders to the vehicle’s location.

Standard Rear View Camera

Rear view camera is standard on Transit. It makes backing up easy by displaying a full-color image in the screen, with guidelines to indicate where the vehicle is headed based on the position of your steering wheel.

Electronic Stability Program

Senses when you are deviating from your chosen line and aims to keep you on track by automatically regulating braking and engine output. Traction control is designed to eliminate excessive wheelspin and to provide the best possible grip by constantly monitoring and adjusting the torque delivered to individual wheels.

6-Airbag System for Driver and Front-Passenger

Driver and front-passenger airbags deploy during a moderate-to-severe frontal or near-frontal collision to help protect the driver and front passenger.
The safety canopy system combines side-curtain airbags and a rollover sensor to help provide head protection for all outboard seating positions in certain side-impact and rollover situations; and stay inflated for an extended period of time for added protection in multiple rollovers or side impacts.

Tyre Pressure Monitoring System

Sudden loss of tire pressure is the first sign of a puncture. If any of your tires happen to lose pressure before or during your journey, the tire pressure monitoring system gives you an immediate warning by lighting up an icon on the instrument panel.

Hill Start Assist

Hill start assist helps you when pulling away on a hill by maintaining pressure on the brake system for an extra 2 seconds, giving you more time and control as you move your foot from the brake pedal to the accelerator. It’s also handy when you’re stopping and starting on slippery surfaces.

Side Wind Stabilisation

Helps the driver to stay in lane in strong, gusty conditions by using the ESC system to sense when the vehicle is being affected by crosswinds.

Roll Stability Control

Designed to identify a potentially dangerous driving situation and activate the ESP to restore stability.

Wing Mirrors

Wing mirrors that can protect themselves to avoid accidental damage, power-foldable mirrors fold inwards when you’re parked. Tucked back, they also protect the stylish integrated indicators.

Trailer Sway Control

When it detects trailer sway, the system is designed to reduce engine torque and apply the brakes to the appropriate wheel(s) to help maintain control – standard with all Ford tow bars.

An Early Warning if a Tyre is going Flat

If any of your tyres starts to lose pressure during your journey, the tyre pressure monitoring system warns you that there’s a puncture immediately by lighting up an icon on the instrument panel.
